Biography of Alina Zagitova
Alina Zagitova, born on 18 May 2002 in Izhevsk, is the 2018 Olympic figure skating champion in Pyeongchang. After starting to skate in her hometown, she moved to Moscow, where she reached the top under the guidance of Eteri Tutberidze. A gold medal at the Olympics and victories at the World, European and Russian Championships earned her the Career Grand Slam. In 2019, she suspended her competitive career to focus on the show Ice Age and her studies in journalism at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
She is active on Instagram, Telegram, and VK, is involved in charity work, and loves animals, especially her Akita Inu, Masaru. Alina is a symbol of talent and inspiration.
