Anfisa Chekhova (Alexandra Korchunova), born on December 21, 1977, in Moscow, is a Russian actress, TV presenter, and singer whose charisma and provocative nature have made her a show business icon. She dreamed of fame since childhood and studied at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts, but was expelled for singing in the band “Crazy Fireflies” (song “The Girl Anfiska Loves Disco”). She made her film debut in 1999 (Vremya Zherebtsa), but fame came with the show Sex with Anfisa Chekhova (2008–2011), where she discussed intimate topics, causing scandal and popularity.
