Lil Tay (real name Tay Tian, born Claire Eileen Qi Hope, born July 29, 2007) is an American-Canadian influencer and rapper who rose to fame at the age of 9–10 with provocative videos boasting about luxury and profanity.
In 2018, her career was interrupted due to her parents' legal battle for custody. In 2023, there was a sensational fake announcement of her death (her account was hacked). In 2024, she underwent successful heart surgery to remove a tumor.
In 2025, immediately after turning 18 (July), she launched OnlyFans: she claimed to have earned over $1 million in 3 hours (later, the figures rose to $15 million in a week). Her father, Christopher Hope, noted that she is an adult and makes her own decisions, and he does not plan to monitor her content.
Lil Tay has released tracks such as “Sucker 4 Green” (2023) and “Stuck in July” (2025), and continues to make music and post on social media. Her journey from childish provocation to adult content has sparked ethical debates, but she remains one of the most talked-about figures on the internet.
