Biography of Aleksandra Trusova
Alexandra Trusova, born on 23 June 2004 in Ryazan, is a figure skating star and a revolutionary in women's singles skating thanks to her quadruple jumps. She began training as a child and moved to Moscow to pursue her professional career. In 2018, she won the World Junior Championships, becoming the first to perform two different quadruple jumps in the programme. At the adult level, she has won medals at the Grand Prix, European and Russian Championships. At the 2022 Olympics in Beijing, she took silver, performing five quadruple jumps.
She is active on Instagram, Telegram, and VK, is interested in journalism, and studies at Moscow State University. In 2024, she married figure skater Makar Ignatov. Trusova is a symbol of perseverance and technical breakthroughs in sport.
