Alena Shmeterova (@elayne_shmeyt), known as Elayne, was born on 14 February 2004 in the Moscow region. A Russian TikToker, blogger and singer, she rose to fame in 2021 with humorous sketches and videos reminiscent of Billie Eilish (similar in appearance). Her TikTok (@elayne_shmeyt, 2.8+ million followers) and Instagram (@elayne_shmeyt, 1.2+ million) are filled with funny videos, dances and collaborations. A member of XO Team (2021), she starred in D1M4 AK-47's music video "Alena Shmeterova" (2021, a satire about her). She released the tracks "Emo at 16" (2023) and "In Short" (2024).
Alena moved to Moscow after school and started out on YouTube, but TikTok brought her fame. A difficult relationship with her parents (criticism and abuse during childhood) made her independent.
