Angelina Jolie, born on 4 June 1975 in Los Angeles, is an iconic American actress, director and philanthropist. Standing at 169 cm tall, she is the daughter of actor Jon Voight and actress Marcheline Bertrand. Her breakthrough role was in Gia (1998), and her Oscar for Girl, Interrupted (1999) cemented her status. Her role as Lara Croft in Tomb Raider made her an action icon. Jolie starred in the films Unbroken and By the Sea. She was married to Johnny Lee Miller, Billy Bob Thornton and Brad Pitt, with whom she raised six children before their divorce in 2016. As a UN ambassador, she helps refugees and founded the Jolie-Pitt Foundation. She is active on Instagram.
