Biography of Tasya Di Rubens
Di Rubens (Taisiya Malaman-Onatskaya, born 26 June 2000, Kyiv) is one of the most prominent and controversial Ukrainian TikTokers, whose career has skyrocketed thanks to her provocative content and charisma, but has been overshadowed by high-profile scandals.
She grew up in a family of musicians and often felt lonely because of their tours. After 9th grade, she started working: she tried different fields, but at 16 she became interested in blogging. Her first videos were entertaining sketches and challenges on YouTube, streams on Twitch, and posts on social media. Her natural beauty (height 173 cm, weight 60 kg), dancing and light flirting quickly attracted millions: now TikTok @di.rubens has 3.8+ million subscribers, Instagram @di.rubens has 1+ million, and YouTube and Telegram have hundreds of thousands.
In 2021, she became famous (in a negative sense) for a video on Maidan Nezalezhnosti, where she chose Russia as her "favourite country" — the video went viral, sparked flash mob responses, and led to the loss of contracts with brands (ASUS, Allo, Borjomi, Nestle) and inclusion in the "Peacemaker" database. She filed lawsuits against Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Anatoly Stefan ("Stirlitz"), who published the video — the courts are dragging on until 2023–2025. Before the invasion, she left for Russia (St. Petersburg), where she continues to create content, but lost part of her Ukrainian audience.
Unmarried, she focuses on OnlyFans (exclusive photos and videos), where she monetises her image. Di Rubens is a symbol of polarity: for some, she is a daring icon, for others, a provocateur. Her journey has taken her from being a dreamer in Kyiv to a global influencer in exile.
