Biography of Larisa Guzeeva
Larisa Guzeeva, born on 23 May 1959 in Burtinskoye, Orenburg Region, is a Russian actress and television presenter whose charisma and sharp tongue have made her an icon. She grew up in a family of a locksmith and a seamstress, with her stepfather Viktor Makurin. As a child, she was rebellious: bright makeup, revealing clothes, dreams of cinema. She graduated from the Shchukin Theatre School (1978, O. Tabakov's course). She made her debut in "Little Mischief-Makers" (1977), but her breakthrough came with the role of Larisa Ogudalova in "Cruel Romance" (1984), for which she received the USSR State Prize (1986). She has appeared in more than 50 films, including The Real Captain (1977), The Brake and the Cinder (1982), My Friend Ivan Lapshin (1984), Love, the Harbinger of Sorrow (1989), Vassa (1983), "Petersburg Secrets" (1994). From 2001 to 2005, she hosted "I Am a Mother" on TVC, and since 2008, she has hosted "Let's Get Married!" on Channel One. She has been married three times: to Igor Bukharov (1984–1990, son Georgy, 1986), Sergei Borovkov (1990–1993, daughter Olga, 1991), and Valery Guzeev (1999–2005, daughter Anna, 1999). She struggled with alcoholism in the 1990s. She shares her life on Instagram (@guzeeva_larisa, 1+ million followers). Larisa is a symbol of strength and irony, inspiring generations.
