Biography of Marina Aleksandrova
Marina Aleksandrova, née Pupenina, was born on August 29, 1982, in Kiskunmajsa, Hungary, into the family of a military man and a Methodist. She spent her childhood on Lake Baikal, in Tula and St. Petersburg, where she became interested in music and theater, graduating from music school with a degree in harp. In 2003, she completed her studies at the Shchukin Theater School. Her breakthrough came with her role in Poor Nastya (2003), followed by Azazel, Mosgaz, and Catherine (Catherine II). From 2006 to 2011, she performed at the Sovremennik Theater, and later at the Theater of Film Actors. From 2008 to 2010, she was married to Ivan Stebunov, and since 2012, she has been married to director Andrei Boltenko. They are raising their son Andrei and daughter Ekaterina. She shares her creative work on Instagram (@marinaaleksandrova), Telegram, and VK. She speaks French and English and is involved in charity work. Marina is a cinema icon who inspires with her talent and sophistication.
