Biography of Pasha Tekhnik
Pasha Technic (Pavel Ivlev), born on 1 July 1984 in Moscow, is a cult underdog rapper whose fame is built on provocative lyrics, street charisma and scandals. The founder of the group Kunteynir, he released landmark albums (Edward Scissorhands Paper, In Shit), but in 2008 he was sentenced to five years in prison for drug offences. After his release in 2013, he began a solo career. His style is trash, post-irony, and dark street philosophy. Pasha became a meme after Versus Battle (2017), and his candour about addiction and life made him a podcast hero. His personal life (a son with Eva Karitskaya, rumours of romances) and conflicts with the law fuel the hype. In March 2025, he fell into a coma in Thailand due to poisoning, but doctors are hopeful. Pasha is the voice of the underground, balancing between rebellion and self-irony.
