Biography of Pelageya
Pelageya Khanova, born on 14 July 1986 in Novosibirsk, is a singer, master of folk rock and Russian folk songs. Raised in a creative family, she has been involved in music since childhood, entered music school at the age of 8, and at 9 became the "Best Performer of Folk Songs" in a TV competition. In 2000, she formed the band Pelageya, releasing the albums Devushkiny Pesni (2007) and and "Tropi" (2010). Her voice was heard on the shows "The Voice" and "The Voice. Kids" as a mentor. Personal life: married to Dmitry Efimovich (2010–2012), then to Ivan Telegin (2016–2019), with whom she had a daughter, Taisia. Pelageya is active on Instagram, VK, and Telegram. Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation (2020), she combines folk motifs with modernity, remaining a star of the stage.
