Zendaya Marie Coleman, born on 1 September 1996 in Oakland, California, is an American actress, singer, model and dancer whose charisma has made her a global star. The daughter of teachers, she was interested in theatre from an early age, performing in school plays and appearing in commercials (Macy's, Old Navy). She made her debut in 2009 in the Disney series Shake It Up (as Rocky Blue), becoming an idol for teenagers.
