Anna Chipovskaya (born 16 June 1987, Moscow) is one of the most sensual and talented actresses of the new generation of Russian cinema and theatre.
She grew up in a creative family: her father was jazz musician Boris Chipovsky, and her mother was prima ballerina Olga Egorova of the Vakhtangov Theatre. At first, she wanted to become a journalist, but ended up graduating from the Shchepkinsky Theatre School and began acting in her third year.
Her breakthrough came with the series The Secret City, Valery Todorovsky's drama Thaw (2013), where her character Maryana became a symbol of the 1960s, and then roles in A Walk in Paris, Blockbuster, Good Boy, What Men Talk About. She also plays in theatre productions and at her native Vakhtangov Theatre.
