Eileen Gu (Chinese: 谷爱凌, born September 3, 2003, San Francisco, USA) is an American-Chinese freestyle skier, two-time Olympic champion, and one of the brightest stars in winter sports.
She grew up in San Francisco in a family with a Chinese mother and an American father, and has been skiing and freestyle skiing since childhood. In 2019, at the age of 15, she won her first adult World Cup stage. At the 2022 Olympics in Beijing, she competed for China (she obtained Chinese citizenship in 2019), winning gold in big air and halfpipe, and silver in slopestyle, making her the first woman to win three medals in freestyle at a single Olympics.
