Biography of Darya Moroz
Daria Moroz is a Russian theatre and film actress, born on 1 September 1983 in Moscow. She is the daughter of the renowned actor and director Alexander Moroz and the actress Marina Levtova. From childhood, Daria was immersed in the world of theatre and film. In 2004, she graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School (Oleg Tabakov’s course) and was immediately accepted into the troupe of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre, where she continues to work to this day. Daria gained widespread popularity through her roles in the films and TV series *Cosmos as a Premonition*, *Piter FM*, *Dukhless*, *Liquidation*, *Thaw*, *The Method*, *The Optimists*, *Silver Skates* and *A Lad’s Word: Blood on the Asphalt*. She plays both dramatic and comic roles with equal conviction. Daria Moroz is the winner of several theatre awards, including the ‘Golden Mask’. As well as acting, she works as a producer and teaches acting. Today, Daria remains one of the most sought-after and brilliant actresses of her generation, successfully balancing work in theatre, film and television series.
