Biography of Ekaterina Kovalchuk
Ekaterina Kovalchuk, born on February 20, 1993, in Syktyvkar, Komi, is a Russian theater and film actress whose charisma and talent have made her a star. She grew up in a poor family but dreamed of the stage from childhood. She graduated from SPbGATI (2016, Yuri Krasovsky's course). She made her debut as an extra in The Officer's Wives (2013), but her breakthrough came with a role in the American short film Private (2015, Camden). She became famous for her role as Nastya in Hussar (2020) and The Hussar 2 (2024). She starred in Eight Ways to Love (2021), Love of Evil (2024), The Healer (2025, lead role of Nastya), and Treasures of the Chinese Seas (2025, co-produced with the UK and South Africa).
