Biography of Ekaterina Molokhovskaya
Ekaterina Molokhovskaya is a Russian and Belarusian theatre and film actress, born on 28 October 1985 in Polotsk (Belarus). As a child, she graduated from music school, specialising in piano, and in her later school years she developed a passion for journalism and even began studying on the part-time programme at the Belarusian State University. Ekaterina later moved to Moscow and, in 2009, graduated with honours from the M. S. Shchepkin Higher Theatre School (under the tutelage of R. G. Solntseva, V. M. Beilis and V. N. Ivanov). Immediately after graduating, she joined the company of the N. V. Gogol Moscow Drama Theatre, where she worked until 2014, and later began collaborating on independent theatre projects. Audiences will recognise her from the TV series *Univer: The New Hall of Residence*, *Youth*, *Vangelia*, *Comfort Zone*, *The Russians*, *Matryoshka*, *Einstein. The Theory of Love’ and many others. She is distinguished by her natural charisma, emotional depth and ability to perform convincingly in both comedic and dramatic roles. Today, Ekaterina Molokhovskaya continues to appear regularly in films and TV series, remaining a sought-after actress on Russian television.
