Katrina Bowden is an American actress and model, born on 14 September 1988 in Gulfport, Mississippi. She grew up in a small town and began taking part in beauty pageants whilst still a teenager. Katrina rose to fame in 2008 when she landed the role of Serena van der Woodsen in the cult teen drama ‘Gossip Girl’. Her character – a wealthy, stylish and somewhat capricious socialite – became one of the series’ defining figures and brought the actress international fame. Her other notable roles include the films *Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides* (as Penelope), *American Pie: All Together Now’, *Friends with Benefits*, as well as the TV series *Predator City* and *The Blacklist*. Katrina Bowden possesses classic Hollywood beauty, with long blonde hair and a radiant smile. She has frequently modelled for men’s magazines (Maxim, FHM) and has repeatedly featured on lists of the world’s sexiest women. She has been married to actor Chris Wood since 2013.
