Biography of Rita Ora
Rita Ora is a British singer, actress and model of Albanian descent, born on 26 November 1990 in Pristina (Kosovo). When she was just one and a half years old, her family moved to London, where she grew up. Rita began her musical career in 2012 with the hit ‘R.I.P.’, which topped the UK charts. Her real breakthrough came following the release of her debut album ‘Ora’ (2012), on which the tracks ‘How We Do (Party)’, ‘Shine Ya Light’ and ‘Radioactive’. Her vibrant vocals, energetic style and sultry image quickly made her one of the UK’s most prominent pop stars. Other major hits include ‘I Will Never Let You Down’, ‘Poison’, ‘Your Song’, ‘Lonely Together’ (featuring Avicii) and ‘Let You Love Me’. Rita has also enjoyed success as a judge on ‘The Voice UK’ and ‘The X Factor’. Aside from music, she has appeared in the films ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ (as Mia Grey), ‘Pokémon. Detective Pikachu’ and *Faust*. Rita Ora actively collaborates with fashion brands and has launched her own clothing line.
