Biography of Sofiya Kashtanova
Sofia Kashtanova, born on August 6, 1987, in Moscow, is a Russian actress whose roots lie in a creative family: her mother is actress Alla Kashtanova, and her father is screenwriter Andrei Antonov. After her parents divorced, Sofya lived in Mexico, where she learned Spanish and absorbed Latin American culture. Upon returning to Russia, she graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School (2007, Kozak and Brusnikin course). She made her debut in Detectives (2006), but fame came with the role of Kristina in Policeman from Rublevka (2016–2021). She starred in Thaw (Sophia Loren), Wolf Sun (Irina Belinskaya), and Resort Romance. She is married and raising a son, but keeps her personal life private.
