Biography of Tatyana Babenkova
Tatyana Babenkova (born 1986) is a Russian theatre and film actress, best known for her role in the TV series *The Policeman from Rublevka* (as Masha, Grisha Izmaylov’s girlfriend). She has repeatedly appeared in risqué scenes and nude sequences: in the TV series *Betrayals* (2015) — several bedroom and nude scenes; in *The Policeman from Rublevka* and its spin-offs — a swimsuit and mildly erotic scenes; *The Mistresses* (season 3) — risqué scenes involving nudity; *The Ratcatcher* and other projects — scenes featuring nudity. In the theatre production *The Man in the Case* (based on Chekhov), she appeared nude in a number of scenes — the nudity was justified by the director’s vision (symbolising vulnerability and freedom) rather than being an end in itself, which sparked discussion but not a scandal. Tatyana has posed for men’s magazines and photo projects in lingerie and topless, but she has not done any fully nude official photo shoots for the press (such as for *Playboy*). Most of the ‘nude photos’ circulating online are either stills from TV series or theatre productions, or screenshots. As of today (2025–2026), the actress continues to act, is raising her son and leads a fairly private personal life. Her on-screen image is often associated with sexuality, but she herself emphasises that nudity is part of her profession, not an end in itself.
