Biography of Elena Kulichenko
Elena Kulichenko, born on 28 July 2002 in Odintsovo, is a high jumper who has been competing for Cyprus since 2021. She began her career in Russia, training at the Vyborg-Odintsovo school. In 2021, she moved to the United States and enrolled at the University of Georgia to study sociology. After changing her sporting citizenship due to sanctions, she won the 2023 European Youth Championships and the 2024 NCAA Championships, setting a record of 1.97 metres. In July 2024, she became the flag bearer for Cyprus at the Paris Olympics.
She is active on Instagram and Telegram, sharing her training routines and motivating her followers. She keeps her personal life private and enjoys reading and travelling. Elena is a rising star in athletics.
