Demi Moore is a legendary American actress, producer and one of the highest-paid stars in Hollywood during the 1990s. She was born on 11 November 1962 in Roswell, New Mexico. Demi’s childhood was difficult: she moved house frequently, and her family struggled with alcoholism and financial problems. Her career began in the 1980s with minor roles, but her real breakthrough came in 1990 with the film *Ghost*, in which she starred alongside Patrick Swayze.
