Hunter Schafer is an American actress, model and LGBT activist, born on 31 December 1998 in Trenton, New Jersey. She spent her childhood in Raleigh, North Carolina. Hunter is a transgender woman who transitioned whilst still a teenager, with the support of her family. Before her acting career, Sheffer enjoyed a successful modelling career. She was spotted by leading agencies and walked the catwalk for brands such as Dior, Versace, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu, Calvin Klein and Rick Owens. Her tall stature (178 cm) and striking looks quickly made her a sought-after figure in the fashion industry. Her real breakthrough in film came in 2019, when Hunter landed the role of Jules Vaughn in the cult HBO series *Euphoria*. This was her first acting role, which brought her international fame and critical acclaim. She later starred in the film *The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes*. Today, Hunter Schafer continues to balance her modelling career with acting, is involved in activism, and remains one of the most vibrant and influential young trans stars in contemporary Hollywood.
