Joey King is an American actress, born on 30 July 1999 in Los Angeles, California. She began acting in films at a very young age: her first role was in 2006 in the film *The Parent Trap 2*. Joey rose to prominence in the 2010s following her role as Ram in the young adult dystopian film *The Maze Runner*. However, her real breakthrough came between 2018 and 2020 thanks to her leading role in the Netflix mini-series *Raised by Wolves* (The Act), in which she played Gypsy Rose Blanchard. For this performance, Joey received nominations for an Emmy and a Golden Globe.
