Biography of Marina Vorozhishcheva
Marina Vorozhishcheva (also known as Mari Vorozh) is a Russian theatre and film actress, director, producer and screenwriter, born on 7 April 1987 in Vilnius. At the age of five, she moved with her family to Minsk, where she completed her schooling. In 2010, Marina graduated from the directing department of RATI-GITIS (Oleg Kudryashov’s workshop). Since 2014, she has been a member of the troupe at the Moscow Theatre for Young Audiences (MTYU). The actress has appeared in numerous popular productions, including *Black Lightning*, *Son of the Father of Nations*, *The Defenders*, *Seven Unholy Couples*, *The Surgeon*, *The Golden Bottom*, *Dubrovsky: The Russian Zorro* and others. She has enjoyed success not only as an actress, but also as a director, producer and screenwriter, creating her own original projects. Marina possesses striking charisma, emotional depth and versatility — she is equally convincing in dramatic, action-packed and comedic roles. The actress is 170 cm tall. Today, Marina Vorozhishcheva continues to appear regularly in films and TV series, performs on the theatre stage and develops her own creative projects. She is married to Ilya Ermolov, and the couple have a child.
