Biography of Paulina Andreeva
Paulina Andreeva (real name: Ekaterina Olegovna Andreeva) is a talented Russian theatre and film actress, director, screenwriter and singer, born on 12 October 1988 in Leningrad (now St Petersburg). She attended school on Vasilyevsky Island, where she took dance lessons, and after graduating, she enrolled in the Faculty of Journalism at Saint Petersburg State University. After two years of study, Paulina left the university and moved to Moscow, where she enrolled at the Moscow Art Theatre School-Studio on the course taught by Roman Kozak and Dmitry Brusnikin. In 2011, she graduated from the studio and was accepted into the troupe of the A. P. Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre. The actress gained widespread fame for her role in the TV series *Thaw* (2013), in which she not only played a singer but also performed Konstantin Meladze’s hit romance song. Her other notable works include the TV series *The Method*, *Better Than People* and *Vertinsky*, as well as films and theatre productions. Paulina is also trying her hand at directing and screenwriting. She has been married to director Fyodor Bondarchuk since 2019. Today, Paulina Andreeva remains one of the most brilliant and versatile actresses of her generation, combining theatre, film and independent projects.
