Paulina Porizkova is a Czech-American supermodel, actress and writer, born on 9 April 1965 in Prostějov, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic). As a child, she emigrated to the United States, where she began her career in modelling and quickly achieved international success.Porizkova became one of the first models from Eastern Europe to achieve worldwide fame. She worked with leading fashion brands and appeared on the covers of prestigious magazines, including the *Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue*.As well as her modelling career, Paulina has acted in films and on television, and has also served as a judge on the show America’s Next Top Model. She is known not only for her professional achievements but also for her outspoken stance on issues such as age, self-esteem and beauty standards, and remains an influential figure in the fashion industry.
