Olivia Wilde is an American actress, director and producer, born on 10 March 1984 in New York. Her real name is Olivia Jane Cockburn. She grew up in a family of journalists: her father is a well-known journalist and writer, and her mother is a journalist and producer. Olivia’s career began in 2004 with minor roles in television series. She gained widespread popularity for her role as Dr Remy ‘Thirteen’ Hadley in the cult medical drama *House* (2007–2012). She subsequently starred in the films *Tron: Legacy*, *Cowboys & Aliens*, *Time*, *Her*, *The Illusionist* and *Donnie Darko*. Since 2019, Olivia has been actively involved in film directing. Her debut film *Don’t Worry, Darling* (2022), starring Florence Pugh and Harry Styles, caused quite a stir. In 2024–2025, she continued to work on new directing projects. From 2011 to 2020, Olivia was in a relationship with Jason Sudeikis; the couple have two children – a son, Otis, and a daughter, Daisy.
