Biography of Tara Rid
Tara Reid (born 8 November 1975, Wyckoff, New Jersey) is an American actress, model and media personality, known for her roles in films of the 1990s and 2000s and for her controversial stories. She grew up in a large family (her father was a teacher and her mother a housewife) and appeared in adverts and TV series from a young age. Her breakthrough came in 1998 with her role in *The Big Lebowski* (as Bundy), followed by *American Pie* (1999, as Vicky), *American Pie 2* (2001), *Vanilla Sky* (2001) with Tom Cruise, and Robert Altman’s *T & the Women* (2000). In the 2000s, her career went into decline due to problems with alcohol and drugs, numerous cosmetic surgeries (breasts, lips, face) and scandals: in 2004, her dress ripped at a party, exposing her breasts and buttocks — photos of the incident went viral around the world. In the 2010s, she returned to the big screen (*American Pie: The Reunion*, 2012; *Sharknado* 1–5, 2013–2017), but became better known as a media personality.
