Vanessa Hudgens is an American actress, singer and entrepreneur, born on 14 December 1988 in Salinas, California. She became a true teen idol thanks to her leading role as Gabriella Montez in the Disney musical franchise *High School Musical* (2006–2008). Following her success at Disney, Vanessa successfully made the transition to ‘adult’ cinema. Her notable works include the films *Journey 2: The Mysterious Island*, *Immortals*, *Bad Girl*, *Second Life*, as well as the TV series *From Dusk Till Dawn*, *Tales of Terror* and *Billions*. Vanessa has also built a successful music career, releasing two solo albums and several popular singles. She is known for her striking looks, sexy image and bold choice of roles. From 2017 to 2023, she was in a long-term relationship with actor Austin Butler. In 2023, she began dating professional baseball player Cole Tucker. Today, Vanessa Hudgens continues to act actively, runs her own business (she has her own homeware range and a wellness brand) and remains one of the most beloved stars of the 2000s generation.
