Yanina Studilina (Yanina Sergeyevna Studilina) was born on 8 August 1985 in Omsk. She is a Russian theatre and film actress, a model, and one of the sexiest and most recognisable stars of the Russian entertainment industry. She began her career in the theatre: she graduated from GITIS (Sergei Zhenovach’s workshop) and appeared in productions of *Romeo and Juliet*, *The Cherry Orchard* and *Masquerade*. Her breakthrough came in 2012 with the role of Svetlana in the TV series *Univer. New Halls of Residence’ made her a national favourite.
